This course is intended for Google Cloud Engineers who deploy applications, monitor operations, and manage enterprise solutions. It's also intended for those interested in obtaining the Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
To get the most from this course, you should have a basic understanding of the Google Cloud Platform and its offerings.
We'll kick off this course by covering Kubernetes Engine resources. You'll learn how to deploy a Kubernetes Engine cluster and how to deploy a container application to Kubernetes Engine, using pods. Rounding out the first section, you'll learn how to configure Kubernetes Engine application monitoring and logging.
Next, we'll dive into the deployment and implementation of App Engine and Cloud Functions resources. In this section, you'll learn how to deploy an application to App Engine and how to deploy a Cloud Function that receives Google Cloud Events.
As we progress through the course, you'll learn how to upload data to Google offerings such as cloud storage and cloud SQL.
After learning about deploying to Google cloud, you'll learn how to deploy a solution using Cloud Launcher. You'll learn about things like browsing the Cloud Launcher catalog and viewing solution details. You'll also learn how to deploy a Cloud Launcher marketplace solution.
Rounding out the course, we'll get into using Deployment Manager for deploying Applications. you'll learn about using Deployment Manager templates, including how to use them to automate application deployment.
By the time you complete this course, you'll have a full understanding of how to deploy and implement Google Cloud Platform solutions.
