Transcript

Welcome to this “Introduction to Google Cloud Operations Suite”. I’m Guy Hummel, and I’ll be showing you how to monitor your GCP systems.

To get the most from this course, you should know the fundamentals of Google Cloud Platform, such as how to create virtual machine instances and use App Engine. If you need a refresher, then you can take our Overview of Google Cloud Platform course.

You should also have experience with performing operations tasks, especially working with Linux. It would also be helpful to have some programming experience, although just knowing the basics of a typical programming language should be enough.

We’ll be going through the components of the Cloud Operations suite to monitor, log, report errors on, trace, and profile your applications.

Now, if you’re ready to learn how to monitor your Google Cloud infrastructure, then let’s get started.
