Prerequisites
A desire to learn to use Power BI
Now, even though Power BI supplies you with many visualizations out of the box, sometimes we need more nuanced and specialized visualizations. Power BI allows you to easily find and install custom visuals that have been created by Microsoft and community members and shared with the Power BI community via the App Source tab. Microsoft has tested and approved these Power BI Visuals for functionality, and many of them come with handy instructions showing you how to use them.
To get started from the Visualizations pane here, we'll click on the ellipsis and choose Get More Visuals. If you don't see what you need, you can always search for something specific, but I do see a couple here that are frequently used and you'll probably want to know about them. The Chiclet Slicer, which closely resembles Excel Slicers, and the Infographic Designer. Just click Add to download and install them. Now that we've downloaded this one, I'll add some relevant data, and just like that, we're using a custom visual.
