In this quick course, we'll review the learning path contents, intended audience, learning objectives and prerequisites. Before we start, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jeremy Cook. I'm one of the trainers here at Cloud Academy, specializing in DevOps. The Pythonic Programming Learning Path consists of a blend of instructional courseware, together with hands on labs where you get to put into practice writing Pythonic code. The intended audience for this learning path includes: software developers interested in learning how to write Python code in a Pythonic manner, Python junior level developers interested in advancing their Python skills and anyone with an interest in Python and how to use Python to write concise and elegant scripts for general purpose tasks. By completing this learning path, you will: understand how to write and develop with Python using Pythonic principles, understand the benefits of using Python and associated best practices to build software which is considered Pythonic and be able to exploit the Python language features to write clean, readable and maintainable code. The following prerequisites will be both useful and helpful for this learning path.
