Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cloud architects to develop, plan and implement application deployments to Infor clouds.
  • Drive technical innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure operations via automation.
  • Provide on-call technical support, troubleshooting and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while monitoring and maintaining application environment stability.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and identify and resolve technical design issues
  • Degree/Diploma in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant experience.
  • Strong administration skills in Linux or other UNIX variants.
  • Ability to create simple scripts and programs (Perl/Python programming, shell scripting or similar).
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting Linux networking services and protocols: TCP/IP, NIS, DNS, NFS, LDAP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, and HTTP.
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in documenting and teaching installation and configuration processes.

2. Senior UNIX Systems Administrator – Web Infrastructure (DevOps, Chef/Puppet/Ansible)

• Review and improve ‘run-books’ to standardize the operation of the systems
• Install, operate and troubleshoot advanced clouds using OpenStack
• Install, operate and troubleshoot hardware systems in data centers to support private clouds
• Provide expert OpenStack advice and support for remote private and hybrid-private clouds
• Automate installation, operation and corrective actions using salt, chef, puppet
• Write and maintain scripts to support operations, development, and testing of advanced software

5.   Linux System Administrator

Job Description:
As an experienced Linux Systems Administrator, you will be charged with building and maintaining enterprise-class and mission critical infrastructure for Dun & Bradstreet using Linux, AWS, and Salt Stack Configuration Management. The Systems Administrator will oversee the maintenance, installation, optimization, and consistent up-time of all dedicated and cloud instances owned and managed by the Company. This is a highly technical role and requires solid competence of all aspects of software and cloud infrastructure. You will be a part of tight-knit team of experts in system engineering working on code that defines company infrastructure and collaborating with software and QA testers on new and ongoing projects. We believe in genuine ownership. The folks making decisions on systems infrastructure are also implementing them
