At Cloud Academy, we’re obsessed with creating value for the organizations who trust us as the single source for the learning, practice, and collaboration that enables a culture of cloud.
Today, we’re excited to announce the general availability of several new features in our Content Library and user Dashboard, including a new skill assessment capability, Cloud Academy Exams.
Our new features will make it easier for your teams to acquire new skills, measure progress and performance, and schedule what to learn next. Let’s take a closer look at some of these new features.
A New Content Library
The Content Library is the starting point for driving your transformation to cloud-first and multi-cloud. Through Learning Paths, Hands-on Labs, Video Courses, Quizzes, and Exams, your teams gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to build expertise and operate across the cloud ecosystem.
In addition to continued improvement to load time, you’ll notice the library has received several enhancements that make navigation and discovery a better user experience.
Improved Filtering & Navigation
Dive deeper into AWS, Azure, or any Cloud Ecosystem content to choose the type of content (Learning Path, Lab, Course, Quiz, Exam) and further refine your selection by difficulty level and topics like security, storage, and more.
New training content collections get you to what matters most, faster
Explore new content collections based on training that you’ve already completed or based on the content that is trending on Cloud Academy.
The user Dashboard is where each session of learning begins. We’re pleased to add Bookmarks to the list of the personalization features announced for the Dashboard so far this year (Content Recommendation, Progress View, and Smart Assistant).
Bookmarks now allow you to flag content for later and build your own training playlist
Set your path for continuous learning by bookmarking the Quizzes, Learning Paths, or other content that you would like to learn next.
Check your progress at a glance by hovering over a given card in the library
Easily monitor your overall progress at a glance, and stay motivated by tracking your performance in the Quiz sessions you take in Test Mode.
Announcing Cloud Academy Exams
Finally, we’re very excited to announce Exams, an effective way to assess your team’s cloud computing skills and understand critical areas where to invest in training. Exams are modeled on a certification-style testing environment, with the same areas of emphasis, number of questions, and time allotted to complete each exam. Exams are now available to all subscribed users who aren’t in a trial period.
