Danilo Poccia, Technical Evangelist at Amazon Web Services attended at AWS Barcelona Meetup.
At our 1st AWS Barcelona Meetup, Danilo talked about serverless architectures in AWS, starting with a brief introduction to AWS’s serverless computing approach, and including several illuminating and educational hands-on demos. We’ve included a few photos from the event – take a look.

Ricardo Casanovas, CTO & co-founder Linke IT, talks about 1st edition of the AWS Barcelona Meetup

On September 20th, we held our first AWS Barcelona Meetup after our summer break, and had some great announcements for our group members; a new sponsor, planned meetups, and activities for the rest of 2016. I’d like to highlight the new sponsorship of Cloud Academy for our group. We are all thankful to all our sponsors for their support, as they are the ones that make our meetups memorable.

Thanks CloudAcademy! And welcome to the user group!

Other great news for the group is the schedule of the Serverless Code Camp that will take place on December 12th. We plan also to host our Christmas celebration after the event.
Now looking into the future, next week  on September 29th a new edition of the AWS Barcelona meetup.
This time we’ll meet at Wallapop’s offices in Barcelona and the folks at Wallapop will talk about how they manage continuous delivery on AWS with Spinaker. It sure sounds like a very interesting talk no one should miss!

See you all on our next meetup!”
